Location and description:This old, but very charming wooden house with a rustic feel has been Cadejo Adventures’ property for many years. This is a very special place to us as it brings back many wonderful childhood memories. We have 6 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, and 1 sink and kitchen. Our pool is a must after coming back from your morning surf session or fishing trip. Each room has two full size beds, night table and fan. Our food is homemade with carefully chosen local and international dishes; we also visit the local restaurants upon request. The pier on the estuary has heard its share of fish stories over the years. At night, this is the place to be - laying down on a hammock, hanging out with friends or just reading a good book.
The beach itself is one of the longest and widest in the country and is also considered one of the best beach breaks in El Salvador. We grew up surfing and fishing in these waters and know them very well. The surf works best in the summer months, between November and April (dry season); usually on an incoming or outgoing high tide. The swell drops significantly during this time, but the offshore winds kick in and more than make up for the smaller size with endless days of perfect barrels. Our winter months are from May through October (wet season). Although La Costa del Sol is a good beginner break year round, it tends to close out with big, powerful winter swells. Winter is when experienced surfers come to El Salvador to surf our world class point breaks.
There are two boats on site that can be used for skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing or troll for red snapper or snook. We also offer deep sea fishing yachts with extremely knowledgeable crew. If the fish are out there, they will find them for you.
